Who We Are

Peruvallur Government High School (GHSS) is situated in Peruvallur locality within Vengara sub-district of Tirurangadi education district, which is part of Malappuram district. The school complex comprises of 11 buildings, including 56 classrooms dedicated to KG, Lower Primary (LP), Upper Primary (UP), and High School levels. Additionally, the Higher Secondary section is accommodated in two separate buildings, with a total of 12 classrooms. The school enjoys the facility of a vast playground.

Our story

GHSS PERUVALLUR, established in the late 1920s with one teacher in a makeshift structure, was initiated by Krishnan Namboothirippad of Mangalassery. Later, Mangalassery Illam generously contributed two more acres of land for educational advancement. In 1974, the school was upgraded to High School status, thanks to an additional acre of land from Mangalassery Illam. Today, it educates over 3500 students from Peruvallur, Kannamangalam, and Pallikal panchayats, spanning classes from one to twelve.
